Employee Engagement & Retention refers to activities aimed at retaining high-performing talent, solidifying and improving the relationship between employees and the organization, creating a thriving and energized workforce, and developing effective strategies to address appropriate performance expectations from employees at all levels.

Discuss and determine methods for assessing employee attitudes (e.g., focus groups, stay interviews, surveys)

Design, administer, analyze then interpret assessment (focus groups, stay interviews, surveys)

Communicate the results to organization leaders

Design and oversee an action plan to address the findings

Holistically monitor the organization’s metrics on employee attitudes, turnover and retention, and other information about employee engagement and retention

Identify program opportunities to create more engaging or motivating jobs (e.g., job enrichment/enlargement).
